Fieldtrip and discussions
It began with presentations made by a few from 2.z. We had a group telling about human rights, a group who told about an AT-project we’ve recently had about human rights and religion, and a last group who told about the Danish government system. The group telling about the AT-project told about their self-chosen subject that had to do with the Muhammed crisis and the freedom of speech. We were then divided into groups with a Turkish student in every group, and we had to discuss the Muhammed crisis and the UN’s declaration on human rights.
We then took a walk down Tietgensgade towards Christiansborg to see where the Danish Parliament is situated, and aftwerwards headed towards the Ombudsman. Here we had a lecture about his function in the Danish Government. After the two hour-long lectures we went back to the school to talk with the Danish-Turkish politician Yildiz Aktogan.
